The 2011 Mini Expo will be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds on Sunday 22nd
May. The focus of this show will be Minis in Australia and Australian-built
vehicles, but all classic Minis and new MINIs are welcome. The Expo will be open
to visitors from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm.
The Expo is all under cover in the 10,000 square metre Exhibition Pavilion. (For those who came along to the previous Mini Show in 2009, that's double the space!)
Admission fee to the 2011 MINI EXPO
is $10.00 per person, with free
entry for children under 12 (if accompanied by a paying adult).
The 2011 Mini Expo will include:
Do
you like good coffee? While you're at the Showgrounds, why not take a stroll to
the Australian Coffee Festival and Cafe Biz for a unique coffee experience.
You'll see some of the world's best baristas competing on stage, as well as a
showcase of all things coffee. For Mini owners, entry is free. At the Coffee
Festival registration desk, just say "I drive a Mini" and the
$10 entry fee will be waived! Who said Minis were money pits?
A People's Choice award for the best car is sponsored by the East Keilor Branch of the Bendigo Bank.
If you are travelling from outside Melbourne, we have some suggestions for finding accommodation.
