Dear VMCi Members,

As many of you are aware, we have recently been experiencing major delays with Australia Post and the timely deliver of your prized MINIMAG.

With the November (and final issue for the year) issue Minimag due to be posted today, hopefully their system is mended and deliveries will be between Friday and Monday, depending on your post region. (eMail Minimag can be arranged instead of waiting for your postman, delivered IN COLOUR direct to your email account; just contact the membership Secretary via memsec@mini.org.au and give him your email address).

But just in case, please be aware that the AGM will be held at the Monthly General Meeting next Thursday, the 24th of November at the Matthew Flinders Hotel in Chadstone.

At this time we will review the particulars of the club year, and call for election/appointment the VMCi Committee of 2017. All positions will be declared vacant, so if you have a desire to play a part you're certainly encouraged to put your hand up.

Myself as President and Matthew as Secretary have both indicated that we do not intend to stand in those roles again next year, so both positions will need filling (Guidance & assistance however would be offered if wanted). I encourage you to consider these roles, or those of a General Committee member (of which we need a total of six) if you would like to help the club to continue to be brilliant into the future. You can really help shape direction.

Whilst they will be available on the night at the meeting, and should be handed to Matthew, the Secretary as early as possible, for your convenience and early planning the standard nomination form can be downloaded by clicking here. You should also have received the form via email.

Please consider this if you can, as we are a volunteer club and we exist only by volunteers volunteering! Without someone wanting to make the difference, we wouldn't be as great as we are :)
